Job description
We are currently working with a Special School in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire that is looking for a number of additional SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TA) The Special School needs SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TA) for students aged 2-19 years old in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. The successful SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TA) must be willing to support students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Autism (ASD) and must be commutable to Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) job role: - Supporting students with SLD, PMLD & ASD.
- Supporting pupils with EHCPs.
- Supporting pupil's emotional and educational needs.
- Working with the class teacher to ensure pupil's learning and emotional needs are met.
- Helping to create a positive learning environment for the pupils.
SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TA) Requirements: - Experience with SEN is desirable.
- Be able to communicate with school staff, parents, and carers.
- Certificates in supporting teaching and learning would be an advantage.
- Available 5 days a week 08:30 - 15:30
- Commutable to Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
