When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.

About the role This position is offered for 21 hrs per week over 3 days with the requirement to flex up to 35 hours during shop closure weeks, which would be approximately once per month. The salary and additional responsibility payment advertised are based on a full-time equivalent (FTE) of 35 hours.
The role is based at the Bristol warehouse but with the requirement to work flexibly across the shop and warehouse sites when necessary. In addition to the responsibilities detailed within the main job description, the role comes with some additional responsibilities associated with the retail shop closure programme and which are recognised with a responsibility payment.
A good working knowledge of Health & Safety and basic IT skills are essential for this role.
This role is subject to a Criminal Record Check. In the event of a successful application a Disclosure report will be sought.
We would love to hear from you if you have: Strong time management and organisational skills, as well as a personable approach and a good understanding of customer service.
You must be able to work effectively as part of a team as you will be working with a number of people from our shops and warehouse. Lifting, carrying and loading of various items will be required therefore you must have the ability to undertake the physical demands of the role and to be able to move and carry stock in line with manual handling guidelines.
You must have a full, clean driving licence.
