Job description

Nursing Home Registered Nurse We are looking for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse, for our clients Nursing Home. You will join our friendly care home team offering general nursing care to 44 elderly and dementia residents. The Home is located in a lovely village near Barnstaple, close to the North Devon coast and beaches and to Exmoor National Park. The home has an excellent reputation and is well rated. As a Registered Nurse you have responsibility for leading your shift and managing a team of carers to ensure we deliver excellent standards of care; promoting independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lifes of individuals in our care, is essential. We are particularly looking for a part-time or full-time nurse for mostly day shifts. While managing a team of carers and leading shifts, you will be doing the following:

• Medication administration
• Assessing residents care needs
• Completing and evaluating care plans
• Communicating with residents’ family and health professionals
• Ensure the smooth running of the care home
• Adhering to the NMC code of practice at all times

Qualifications: - Registered General Nurse and must hold a valid NMC Pin number. - At least one year of care home experience. What are the benefits?
