Team Leader – Job Summary:

We’re supporting our client, a leading global equipment manufacturer based in Harlow, who are looking for a Team Leader to join their growing team. The successful Team Leader will have experience of managing a team within a manufacturing/engineering environment.

Salary:                         £27,000

Shift Pattern:               Early shift 6:00 – 2:00

Responsibilities:

• To assist management a team of people to achieve required quality cost and delivery targets.
• To make sure the team operate to the required run at rates and question any misses to target.
• To execute production plan
• To achieve production output within the required quality target.
• To check that works instructions are used are followed.
• To ensure required collection of data from the cell is gathered.
• To monitor results and take relevant action.
• To liaise with planning team on plan adherence stock issues
• To produce shop floor documentation as required

About You:

• To work as part of a team.
• To work safely using required PPE as per relevant risk assessments.
• To participate fully and actively in the development of Manufacturing’s capabilities.
• To create and maintain a ‘can do’ attitude which provides internal and external customers with an outstanding level of customer service.
• Any other duties which may reasonably be required by the post holders Line Manager or Director.
