Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Windsor & Maidenhead
Salary: £75-£90 per day
Start Date: As soon as possible
GSL Education are currently looking to appoint a number of experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for our client schools in W indsor & Maidenhead , to undertake placements from as soon as possible . We're searching for SEN Teaching Assistant's who have worked with children, young people, or adults with special educational needs, or in care settings.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will possess the following:
- At least one year of SEN support experience in a school, childcare or care setting;
- Being a talented, dedicated and highly motivated educator;
- Support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties to enable them to effectively access the curriculum;
- Demonstrate high levels of care, concern and ambition for our children;
- Have relevant skills and experience to serve a diverse student community including learners with ASC and SEMH ;
- A positive team player with a good sense of humour;
- Be committed to raising attainment and accelerating progress;
- Support SEN students and delivering activities on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Experience in assessing, evaluating, and reporting on pupil progress
Applicants are required to have the following:
- Energetic and patient with strong classroom management skills
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through GSL Education
- Be able to provide two professional school-based references
