General Radiographer Job - Full Time - Up to £35,000 - £3000 Welcome on Board Bonus - Bath Location - Award-Winning Private Hospital

About Us: Discover an exceptional private hospital nestled in the heart of Bath. Equipped with cutting-edge imaging technology, including GE 1.5T HDXT and Siemens Altea 1.5T MRI scanners, Siemens X.Cite CT scanner, GE digital X-ray room, image intensifiers, and a mobile X-ray unit. Specializing in musculoskeletal, neurological, and body imaging.
General Radiographer Responsibilities:• Execute a broad spectrum of radiographic duties, consistently delivering high-quality diagnostic images using digital X-ray rooms, image intensifiers, and the mobile unit
.• Participate in the on-call system.
• Collaborate with the Lead Radiographer to uphold the highest governance standards.
• Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention and control (IPC) and health and safety regulations.
• Assist in managing IT/PACS systems for the department.
• Cultivate effective communication and positive relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Prioritize patient safety, adhering to local rules, standard operating procedures, and organizational policies.
• Contribute to departmental and hospital audits.
• Uphold a professional code of conduct.
• Promptly report accidents, incidents, and near misses to the Team Lead and the Hospital governance system.
• Maintain familiarity with all departmental and emergency equipment, conducting regular checks and promptly reporting any issues.
• Stay current with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
• Keep updated on research and technological advances relevant to the field.
• Comply with mandatory/statutory training requirements.
• General Radiographer Essential Qualifications:
• DCR or BSc in Radiography.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• HCPC Registration.
• Experience in performing a diverse range of general X-ray and theatre examinations.
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills in a Radiology department.
• Postgraduate qualifications.
Desirable Skills:• Computer literacy with PACS experience.
• Flexibility regarding working hours.
• Ability to work independently.
• Comfortable with regular use of VDU's (Visual Display Units).
