Grade MTO: £30,143.85 - £33,944.18 per annum

An opportunity has arisen within Housing Maintenance for a Multitasked Operative – Electrician to carry out a wide range of works to it’s housing stock.
The successful applicant will have previous experience in Electrical work, together with knowledge of Electrical regulations pertinent to this type of work to a wide range of building types. Relevant knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and a full valid driving licence are essential for this post.
You will have a commitment to customer care along with excellent communication skills in order to liaise with tenants.
The successful applicant will have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Electrical Installations and also have completed the BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations City & Guilds courses 2365 or equivalent. You will also be AM2 qualified or equivalent and qualified to 17th Edition IEE Regulations or above. Electrical Inspection and Testing City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 or equivalent would be seen as advantageous.
You should also be available to assist in an out of hours service on a rota basis as and when required.
Experience in a range of associated maintenance repairs and skills would also be desirable.
