Advancing People Multilingual - Recruitment Specialists are now recruiting for a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative Life Science company, who have a site in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

The purpose of this role is to support the Financial Controller in the creation and presentation of the monthly accounts as well as to analyse financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating reports and financial models to enable effective decision making.

Reports to - Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:

Process the complete current accounting - including G/L accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed asset accounting. In addition, you will set up accruals and deferrals, and continuously check the entries made during the year.

Preparation of reports, budget planning, forecasts, liquidity plans and cash flow overviews as well as analysis of business management evaluations

Preparation and responsibility of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to tax and commercial law including reporting (in USGAAP)

Support of economic and tax audits

Support cross-functional teams to improve financial performance of the company.

Monthly Overhead analysis

Person Specification:

Experience in a finance department of a global, multi-product company. Previously worked as an Accountant.

Worked within a group finance structure

Extensive knowledge of financial and tax law

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent communication and problem solving skills

This is a full-time permanent position offering an attractive basic salary of up to £50,000 with attractive company benefits

This role offering remote / Work From Home - The successful applicant will need to commute to the Cambridge office 2 days a week.
