Position Information
Vacy Public School is a TP2 primary school comprising of five classes. Situated on the outskirts of the Hunter Valley region, Our student numbers have grown steadily over the past few years and in 2024 our student population has reached 116, which includes 8% of students from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background. At Vacy Public School, all of our teaching programs are enriched with tasks that cater for all our students' diverse academic, social and cultural needs.
Our school is looking for a part-time teacher (0.4, 2 days a week), who has experience in differentiating and writing programs for students with diverse needs. This person also needs to be flexible within their role and have the ability to work collaboratively within our team to suit the needs of the school and community. Knowledge and experience working with the new curriculum and PLAN2 assessments is essential in this role.
