Job description
Kew Community Trust is a long standing asset based in the Heart of Kew. We are constantly looking to expand and develop our outreach to make sure the Community is aware of our work and how we seek to enhance local lives.
What will you be doing?Our Management Committee is setting some challenging goals for the next few years to address perceptions and broaden our reach into the community. We are updating our brand and offering some exciting new opportunities for people in Kew. We would welcome expertise particularly in Marketing and HR but the ideal candidate would be enthusiastic, delivery focused and prepared to offer ideas and suggestions to an energetic and dedicated Board. We have changed the executive structure and are looking for increased efficiency and achievement in our small but committed staff team.
What are we looking for?We have twelve board members with some leading sub committees on core Trust wok, team work and delivery skills are useful and board member and leadership skills desirable. Previous experience in the Voluntary sector is not necessary as training is provided but enthusiasm, commitment and ability to think creatively would best place you for a role with us.
We would welcome expertise particularly in Marketing and HR.
What difference will you make?As part of our Trustee Board you will provide strategic direction and goals to deliver a full and energised timetable of activities for members, an offering to other local charities and organisations to use our facilities, an affordable and high quality venue for celebrations and events and a perception to the Community that Kew Community Trust is an asset for everyone at all ages and stages of life.
