About the Pub

The Three Crowns is a lovely stone-built building situated on the edge of Saddleworth moor in an area called Scouthead. The pub sits alongside several terraced houses on the main through fare from Oldham to Huddersfield the A62. The area is frequented by tourists in the summertime and enjoys being involved in the local festivals (Whit Friday being a great weekend for the pub and surrounding area). As you walk through the porch you are welcomed with the bar to the right and dining areas on the left. The pub features two open fireplaces, contemporary décor and a mixture of fixed and loose tables and chairs seating a total of 62 covers. The bar servery features a number of cask ales and international beer brands, in addition to a seating area front of the bar for people to enjoy or a drink or wait to be seen to their table. The external trading area is currently at the front of the building and features a couple of picnic benches. At the rear there is a lovely, decked area with picnic benches for drinking and eating area. The private accommodation consists of four-bedrooms a lounge, kitchen, dining room, office and bathroom.
