ROLE SUMMARY:

The successful applicant will be a part of King's InterHigh, the largest online school group in the UK, delivering a fully personalised education online. Our curriculum structure is based on the Key Stages, with IGCSEs offered at KS4 and A Levels at KS5. We teach students online from Key Stage 2 - 5, through a digital platform.

To strengthen our key objectives of delivering highly flexible, personalised, and adaptive online learning, we require an Education Support Administrator who will support the Education Leadership Team at King’s InterHigh by undertaking a variety of administrative tasks.

The Education Support Administrator role is designed to provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Executive Headteacher and a team of Heads at our online school. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the smooth operation of the school's administrative functions, supporting leadership with their day-to-day tasks. 

Starting Salary : £24-£25k per annum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•   Work closely with the Education Leadership Team to respond to various requests for admin support

•   Liaise with the IT and Education Operations team regarding a range of IT and administrative tasks 

•   Assist with the setting up of and maintaining of Canvas courses 

•   Create new groups for the new academic year during the summer period

•   Maintain confidential records and files in accordance with school policy and data protection regulations.

•   Coordinate logistics for in person events, including venue, equipment, and material preparations.

•   Support the implementation of projects and initiatives led by the Education Leadership Team.

•   Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting as needed for school improvement planning and compliance purposes.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

•   Experience in working as part of an administrative team.

•   Familiarity with a range of MS Office software, including MS Word, Excel and Teams.

•   Experience of education IT systems.

•   An appreciation of the online learning environment.

•   Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

•   Motivated to achieve excellence for self and others.

•   The ability to be flexible and learn how different IT systems work

•   Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection in relation to school systems and processes

•   Good interpersonal and communication skills 

•   Excellent team-working skills.

This is not exhaustive, and the post holder will be expected to carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by the Education Leadership Team of King’s InterHigh. 

- The role may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate different time zones of our international student base.

- The Education Support Administrator will need to stay updated on the latest educational technologies and administrative practices to support the school's virtual environment effectively.
