Residential Support Worker
Our client a leader in its field seeks to employ a Residential Support Worker in Southampton. As the Residential S upport Worker, you will be caring for young people who can display challenging behavior and present with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Y our role will be but not limited to:
- Delivering the highest standards of care, protection, and support to the young people you will support
- Appropriate Recording & reporting utilising the correct systems to escalate safeguarding concerns.
- Attending training and meetings, including interaction with the wider team.
- Interacting with children and young people and managing complex behavior
- Being a positive role model and guiding
- Cooking, cleaning & maintaining the home
- Getting involved in activities with the young people
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience of working with Children and young people with health/social care/educational needs
- A Level 3 qualification Level 3 in CYPW Diploma in childcare or equivalent
This is a full-time role on a permanent basis where you be working on a shift rota
