Description Overview
Are you an individual who is experienced in the media industry and looking to create a significant footprint on the way a Global CPG invests and works with its largest A&P investment?
Perrigo has recently appointed its first Global Media Agency partner, which means we are at an exciting point of transformation to a new media agency model and ways of working internally and externally. The Global Media Lead will enable the organisation to unlock their media capabilities by:
- Overseeing the Global Media Performance Strategy to drive best in class consumer connected experiences
- Create a more effective and efficient media model across multiple markets and categories.
- Driving key agency partnerships to extract the best opportunities and values for Perrigo.
- Create a new framework for media performance and governance.
Scope of the Role
Performance & Strategy:
- Provide Strategic support to Global Digital leads and local marketing teams to build world class-connected consumer experiences.
- Coordinates Connections Planning, as part of the Global Success Model Framework, alongside the Global Category and Digital leads across key categories, to deliver key media insights and strategic principles
- Analyses global media investment and make recommendations for optimisation across the Top 10 markets and key categories.
- Collaborates closely with Global digital leads to deliver Touchpoint Strategy Playbooks i.e Search, Influencer to drive consistency across markets and categories.
Agency Management
- Leads and drives the relationship with the Global Media Agency to form sustainable partnership Owns daily agency vendor relationships i.e Google, Meta – ensuring consistency in ways of working across vendors as well as integration into the Media Agency framework, where relevant.
- Leads the relationship with the external Media Consultants and responsible for reviewing outputs of the audit review and PBR to create tangible roadmaps, which can be deployed to local markets
- Responsible for developing and deploying a consistent way of working process, templates, planning tools, taxonomy, tagging, adOps
Governance
- Ensures Media Connections Planning are being implemented for media effectiveness across global categories
- Ensures the Media Measurement Framework is embedded in Global strategies and is being optimised when needed.
- Collaborating with local digital performance managers on sharing best practice
Experience Required
- University degree; studies in marketing, business, media and communications is a plus.
- Ideally 8+ years’ experience in media or digital marketing (agency side is a plus)
- Passionate about the media landscape (Online and offline)
- Knowledge of advertisement platforms (Facebook manager, Google Ads, Amazon DSP)
- Understands media technology ecosystems and tech stacks
- Experience/knowledge in e-commerce is a plus.
- Fluent English
- Analytical, Insight & Data driven – ability to analyse media performance and make a clear and tangible evaluation for optimisation
- Critical and strategic thinking – able to assess what is working well, evaluate new strategic media opportunities, which can be built into the media strategy and scaled globally
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to drive clarity on the external media environment and internal processes
- Strong drive to influence peers, leadership, local teams, and external agency partners
- Self-motivated, highly adaptable, and able to work in complex environment with multiple brands and markets
- An in-depth understanding of different media landscapes and dynamics
- A strong drive for results, can do attitude and performance tracking
- Track record of proactiveness
