Job description

Opportunity for an Insolvency Practitioner or Qualified Accountant to establish themselves and further their career in a world-class team in one of The Midlands’ leading employers. This is a high-profile role which requires stakeholder engagement at multiple levels both internally and externally to ensure stability of the businesses supply chain.

The role

• Perform strategic evaluations with Insolvency Practitioners and support insolvency trading agreements and review of trading forecasts.
• Monitor risk and report back to Senior Management in weekly meetings chaired by yourself.
• Organise and lead supplier review meetings providing financial support where needed.
• Work with Purchasing, Operations and Buyers to procedures are followed.
• Review UK and overseas suppliers’ financial performance.

The Candidate

• Experience of working in an Insolvency setting or a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
• Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities. You’ll build business relationships quickly and effectively at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure to multiple deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Proven track record of managing projects or leading audits.
