Job Description
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Investment Bank Payment Technology, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Design data pipeline & engineering infrastructure to support ML systems at scale
- Take Offline models that data scientists build and run them in production systems by working closely with ML Data Engineers
- Identify and evaluate new tech stacks to improve performance, maintainability, and reliability of ML systems
- Apply software engineering rigor and best practices to ML including CI/CD , automation, etc..
- Support Model development, with an emphasis on auditability, versioning, and data security
- Facilitate development & deployment of PoCs
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- ML DevOps Engineer Requirements & Skills

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven ML engineering experience with strong hands on Python knowledge
- Experience working with cloud computing and database environment
- Experience developing and maintaining ML systems built with Open source tools
- Familiarity with one or more data oriented workflow orchestration frameworks -like kubeFlow, Airflow etc..
- Ability to translate business needs to technical requirements
- Exposure to ML methodologies and best practices
- Expert level experience in ML SDLC , developing and productionizing Python Applications
- Hands on experience in AWS apps such EMR, Sage Maker , Cloud Watch, S3 Data Lake etc ((this is a must)
- Must have strong knowledge in CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, Bitbucket, Splunk, CloudWatch, Grafana, Dynatrace, Terraform etc.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Exposure to cloud technologies
