Job description
We wish to recruit a well-organised Attendance, Admissions and Admin Officer to join our friendly office team. The post is fixed term for 1 year with the potential to become permanent and will be for 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 inset days. The hours are 8:00am-4:00pm each day (with 1 hour for lunch). There may be some flexibility in the hours for the right candidate.
Salary range: ME5 point 5 FTE £27,030 – ME6 point 10 £29,139 pro-rated (actual salary £23,506- £25,340).

The ideal candidate will be a good team player with strong organisation skills and the ability to communicate in a professional and friendly manner with parents, children and staff.
The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines is essential as well as having a good working knowledge of ICT programmes. Strong literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
The applicant will be organising their own workload but also helping out as part of the overall office team when required. The candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, dealing with a wide range of different people and frequent interruptions. Experience of working in a busy school environment will be advantageous, though not essential and training will be provided to the right candidate.
