• Responsibility for the delivery of engineering solutions that meet Design to Cost and Design for Manufacture requirements, against programme deliverables. This may be as an individual contributor or as leader of a team where required.

• Based at Pitstone UK, but may be required to collaborate and coordinate activities with other sites in SEP where necessary.
• May act as customer interface in relation to work packages under his supervision and support customer facing negotiations.

• The production and maintenance of CAD models, drawings and parts lists that are compliant with all company standards associated with the work package(s) you are assigned.
• The production, reporting and approval of Design Assurance documentation, including, but not limited to, design reports, test procedures, thermal analysis reports and Stress calculations such as interference fits, thermal growth, hoop and tensile stresses, thread loadings and tolerance analyses, in support of said work packages.
• The consensus or agreement of other project team members such as stress, industrialisation, manufacturing, sourcing and configuration with respect to new designs or design changes.
