Full time Live in couple role in Andover, SP11
This family are looking for an experienced Live in couple to assist in the running of their lovely country home. The property is 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, in a total of 6 acres with a river running through the grounds. The hours are between 9am and 7pm with a break in the middle of the day from Tuesday to Friday and 8am till 4pm on Saturday. They are open to either position being part time, this would be reflected in the salary.
Accommodation provided with the role comprises of a self-contained duplex barn with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and a living room/kitchen.
Housekeeping duties to include but not be limited to all usual housekeeping tasks, laundry/ironing, cooking, serving and clearing for family and dinner parties (when required and paid extra), stocking and provisioning for household and cleaning. The family have a nanny who looks after the children and does some light housekeeping but would like the housekeeper to assist with some school drop offs/pick up, helping with homework/reading and children’s admin (school emails etc) The family have 4 children aged 5, 7, 8 and 10 years.
Gardener/driver/maintenance person duties to include liaising with contractors, household/vehicle maintenance, odd jobs, occasional driving for principles and gardening/river maintenance.
The family like the country lifestyle and appreciate an organic, healthy way of living and are keen to create a small self-sufficient market garden for their own enjoyment; so would love a couple who have an interest in this or gardening.
There will be some house and pet sitting required when the principles are away.
