Job description
Our client, a fast-growing technology and engineering services business providing innovative solutions for future mobility needs, focusing on electrification and light-weighting is currently looking to hire an Electrical Systems Engineer. The successful candidate will design and develop the electrical systems used in HV Batteries and Power Distribution Systems on Off Highway and Rail applications.
The Electrical Systems Engineer will:
Assist with hazard analysis, risk management and DFMEA for components and systems as required.
Generate system architecture diagrams and circuit drawings to support electrical design activity.
Collaborating with suppliers delivering systems or parts for a project.
Support virtual and physical builds for components and vehicles.
Maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and all other departments.
The Electrical Systems Engineer will have:
Degree in relevant engineering discipline or in job experience of 5 years min.
Recent experience and proven track record in electrical integration within the automotive or Autosport industries.
Strong understanding of On Vehicle networks.
Awareness of ISO 26262 and functional safety.
Experience of Requirements Capture Tools, such as Siemens Polarion or IBM Rational Doors.
