We are really excited to share this new opportunity as a Yield Controller. The purpose for the Yield Controller is to independently conduct Yield Reviews of individual contracts, to identify additional revenue opportunities and to ensure the optimum fees are achieved for each contract. You will get to lead and support colleagues in negotiating recovery of additional revenues from customers. You will foster and build positive, successful relationship with BU's with the goal of increasing the positive perception of the Yield Management strategy. What about your role?

As Yield Controller you will;

• Complete yield reviews on target contracts and identify additional revenue opportunities
• Follow-up with finance/operations the implementation of action plans to address the observations raised and track benefits, being part of the Customer conversations where needed.
• Become the SME to support others with similar reviews.
• Lead other financial/operational reviews as agreed.
• Business Partner : To drive positive improvements in the relationship between finance, operations and internal stakeholders - establishing finance as a contributing and proactive "Business Partner", and to justify and promote the revenue management program delivers - as well as working with the Bu's to contribute to achieving regional targets;

• Provide effective support to stakeholders in revenue management and risk mitigation areas
• Contribute to improving the respective BU P&L performance through proactive and innovative recommendations.
• Engage with business stakeholders to track status of agreed action plans.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, expectations & communications.
• Build strong working relationships with the financial and operational stakeholders across the region.

• Financial Assurance Programme: Coordinating between the respective BU's and stakeholders to ensure the reviews are clearly planned, communicated and executed

• Project Execution: Ownership of the respective reviews allocated in the Yield Management programme. Ensure that project progress, performance and targets are met and clearly communicated in alignment with project governance;

• Ensure and support the adherence and compliance to contractual agreements and/or DHL policies and procedures related to projects within the respective BU's.
• Ensure practical recommendations are provided in order to address the gaps/issues identified.

• People Management: Establish excellent relationships with multiple contacts across the region including Account Managers, Site Managers, and the finance team to ensure Revenue management programme and other reviews are fully supported and benefits are understood;

• Become and SME in Revenue Management and support the development of the Finance community to develop their own skills in Revenue Management
• Driving continuous improvement

What are the requirements?

• Experience in logistics/supply chain is desirable.
• At least 2 years' experience in working with Customers and Contracts.
• Strong attention to detail, with ability to deep dive to fully understand route causes
• Data analysis background and MS Excel competency is desirable
• Knowledge and understanding of Continuous Improvement principles is desirable
• Experience working across UK&I is desirable
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
