Job Title: IT Database Administrator

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Alderley Edge or Edinburgh

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

Closing date: 17th March 2024

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an IT Database Administrator. As an IT Database Administrator (DBA) you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining the SQL Server environment. You will be joining a dynamic team, who work on data projects and work in a cross functional team that interfaces with a variety of stakeholders.

 

You will help support the business areas on their database requirements, working on requests and incidents. As well as liaising with Project Managers and Customers to provide technical support and guidance for projects.

 

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in database administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You should also have a solid understanding of database management systems and be familiar with SQL and other programming languages like Microsoft Azure.
