Fire Door Surveyor – London - £37,000
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Door Surveyor to join our team. The Fire Door Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys of buildings to assess the effectiveness and compliance of fire doors. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards, as well as experience in surveying buildings for fire safety compliance.
Salary Package: - £32,000 - £37,000

Key Responsibilities: - Conduct surveys of buildings to assess the effectiveness and compliance of fire doors.
- Identify and report on any deficiencies in fire door design or installation and provide recommendations for remedial actions.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication of survey results and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of survey findings.
- Keep up to date with changes in fire safety regulations and standards.
Requirements: - Extensive knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards, including an understanding of the relevant Building Codes and British Standards.
- Demonstrated experience in surveying buildings for fire safety compliance.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A full, clean UK driving license.
Qualifications: - A degree in fire safety engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as a FDIS Diploma in Fire Doors, are desirable.
- Experience working in the construction industry, or a related field is preferred
