Contentious Construction Partner - Leeds
An award-winning Yorkshire firm are looking for a Construction Partner, specialising in disputes to further enhance their offering in Leeds. This role will suit an existing Partner or those in a Director position looking to step up to Partnership.
This is an established Yorkshire firm with a strong reputation in the region and nationally. The firm have won several awards and are listed in 'The Times Best Law Firms 2024'. With strong sector knowledge and grasp on commercial challenges that spans a broad range of sectors, industries and complex areas of law, they act as trusted advisors to a wide range of clients across the region.
The Opportunity:
The firm are looking to appoint a new Construction Partner to be based in their Leeds office. The construction and engineering team provide act across the full spectrum of construction matters from procurement and contract services to dispute resolution, infrastructure, energy and public procurements.
There is a diverse client base comprising both public and private sector clients to include local authorities, charities, schools, colleges, developers, contractors, sub-contractors and funders.
The purpose of this role is to:
- Further enhance the firm's construction offering
- To assist with building a team of talented lawyers
- To head up the team in the near future.
Candidate requirements:
Ideally, you will be a construction lawyer already operating at Partner level and have a following to bring with you. However, applications from senior level lawyers/directors who are looking to step up will also be considered.
You will be well connected within the construction space and you must be able to use your business development and networking skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and external professionals to further drive business.
