Apollo Home Healthcare are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants who have a genuine interest in working with children and would like to work in role where you are making a difference to their day-to-day life.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a 10-year-old boy who lives at home with mum in Stockport and requires support throughout the night on a 1:1 basis.
He is generally a happy and cheerful boy who loves lots of interaction, having fun, and socialising with his family, friends, and care team.
At home he enjoys playing on his IPAD, watching TikTok videos, films, and exploring with arts and crafts activities. He loves day trips out and exploring the outdoors with his family and friends.
Your role throughout the night will include being vigilant, making close observations, attending to his clinical needs, personal care needs and repositioning needs as required. You will also provide comfort and offer reassurance when required to promote a peaceful environment and a restful night’s sleep.
He is a chatty young boy who loves to express his wants and needs and is looking for an outgoing and friendly care team who he can have a chat with and share fun memories.

It is essential for this position that candidates have previous experience in supporting and working with children within a healthcare setting

Weeknights £15.00 per hour Approx. £183.75 per 12.25 hour shift
Saturday £15.50 per hour Approx. £189 per 12.25 hour shift
Sunday £16.00 per hour Approx. £196 per 12.25 hour shift
Bank Holiday £18.50 per hour Approx. £226 per 12.25 hour shift
