Established Mid-Tier Practice Firm.
ACCA/ACA or QBE with 5/6 years practice experience.

About the Company
Based in Kingston Upon Hull my client is an established firm of chartered accountants with an enviable reputation and progressive outlook. The firm offer audit, accounts, taxation and business advisory services and following a period of sustained growth they are keen to expand the management team with the appointment of an Audit Manager.
About the role
As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across a wide variety of sectors, overseeing staff members within the firm and reporting directly to the Partners.
Key responsibilities:
Act as the key point of contact for clients, nurturing a relationship with the client portfolio whilst maintaining and developing existing and potential new client networks.
Manage assignments through to completion, ensuring these are completed in line with agreed timetables, budgets, and in compliance with the applicable regulatory framework.
Proactively manage your workload, whilst also managing various teams engaged on different assignments.
Manage teams effectively, delegating work, ensuring development opportunities are available, and regular performance reviews. Encourage an open exchange of ideas and opinions among peers.
Provide a proactive and reactive service to clients and ensuring their needs are fully met.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established audit clients.
Candidate Profile:
You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background and strength within audit, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. You will be looking to take your career to the next level, within a firm and role where you can see a genuine clear progression and personal development.
Attributes:
ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification essential.
Significant auditing and accounting experience in a similar role such as Audit Senior or Audit Executive.
Demonstrable experience of supervising others and delegation of work.
Strong business awareness, sound reporting skills and the ability to work under your own initiative.
A passion for client service.
A keenness to further your own personal development and career goals.
