Salary: £45,000 to £55,000pa DOE

Location: Hybrid/Kings Hill, Kent

Commercial Services Group are looking for proactive finance professional to lead their operational financial function within their Procurement Services division.

As the Senior Management Accountant you will responsible for the preparation of monthly accounts, input into commercial bids and propositions, advising and implementing key controls whilst work closely with Divisional Directors and the Senior Management team to assist the Finance BP in creating, updating and presenting budget and forecasts.

Key duties -

• Build excellent working relationships with key operational staff allowing clear and concise communication of all financial data to support decision making
• Maintain, review and improve Financial Modelling and reporting to ensure integrity of Management Information and ad hoc analysis
• Consolidate monthly P&L statements with full commentary and variance analysis, ensuring source data is integral and sign off monthly P&L reconciliations
• Assist in commercial analysis and insight for Divisional bid submissions and product analysis
• Take ownership of all Operational control accounts, highlighting any future risks and opportunities to ensure future cost pressures are minimised

What we need from you -

• Fully qualified accountant having successfully completed ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and good knowledge of various accounting systems
• Previous experience of implementing change within a Finance environment is desirable but not essential
• Multiple years’ experience in leading the production of monthly management accounts including presenting to senior management
• Excellent organisational skills, time management and prioritisation skills
