Join Appointedd's dynamic Developer Operations team where we focus on five key responsibilities that form the core of our work:
API & Webhooks Development and Maintenance:
- Contribute to building and maintaining a top-tier API & Webhooks with a strong emphasis on developer experience.
- Showcase our ability to seamlessly integrate with clients' internal systems, from custom front-ends to data lake exports.
Internal Tooling Development and Maintenance:
- Enhance client success by providing internal tools that automate repetitive tasks and support database changes, allowing teams to focus on critical tasks.
Developer Experience Enhancement:
- Empower our product engineering team by creating excellent libraries and tools, reducing boilerplate and enabling quick iteration on building and enhancing product features.
Infrastructure and Observability Platform Management:
- Ensure a stable and secure foundation for our product by maintaining and enhancing our infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain an observability platform for seamless log correlation and efficient error monitoring.
Bug Triage Process:
- Contribute to maintaining a bug-free application through effective triage processes, resolving issues promptly to uphold product quality.

Technology Stack:
- Modern Stack: TypeScript, React, Node.js, tRPC, GraphQL, MongoDB, Storybook & Chromatic, AWS CDK, GitHub Actions (CI/CD).
- Legacy Stack: PHP, JavaScript, Angular (1.x), Node.js, MongoDB, CodeShip (CI/CD).
Infrastructure Operations Team:
Join our newly created infrastructure team with a focus on:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure.
- MongoDB cluster maintenance.
- Developer tooling enhancements.
- Internal alerting and observability platform management.
On-Call Responsibilities:
As a software engineer in the developer operations department you will be expected to, if asked, contribute to the out of hours on-call rota for resolving critical priority out of hours incidents. These kinds of escalations are very rare and in general only happen in extraordinary circumstances.
You’ll be provided with the requisite training and documentation as well as monetary compensation for time spent on the rota.
