The Role
•Preparation of a high-quality monthly management accounts pack with supporting schedules for internal and Board reporting.
•Preparation of statutory accounts basis and liaison with external auditors.
•Cashflow forecasting and FX management.
•Coordination of monthly payroll process and overview of weekly payroll including liaison with external payroll provider.
•Management of payroll-related activities including, Pensions PIIDs, Life Assurance and all relevant returns.
•Support and direction in relation to credit control activities.
•Review of monthly overheads with key budget holders.
•Reconciliation of key Control accounts.
•Assistance with preparation of annual budgets.
•Continuously review status of and opportunities for internal control effectiveness within the business.
•Leading and managing, value-adding process improvement projects within the Finance department.
•Collaboration with other functions to identify and deliver process improvement initiatives.
•Management and talent development of a team
The Person
•Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA) or equivalent, with at least 3-5 years PQE
•Experience within the manufacturing/FMCG is essential.
•Ability to handle a high volume of work, demonstrating excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
•Highly proficient in the use of all MS Office Suite, ERP and Payroll Packages
•Commercially astute, with strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial software, processes and regulatory requirements.
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with and build rapport at all levels.
•Ability to analyse data and present clear findings.
