About the role

Benefact Group , are looking for a System Development Manager  to join our  Gloucester  office.

The right candidate will manage the web platform, overseeing the technical development of hosted Benefact websites, web UI components and CMS components. This extends to continuous improvement of existing websites and creation of new websites, working with design agencies and content editors to ensure deliverables meet business needs. To act as scrum master and agile coach to the team, line manager to web developers and technical lead for the team ensuring that modern practices and evolving standards are adopted.

We are regularly updating our tools and technologies to the latest versions and using them to develop business critical solutions alongside Dynamics and .NET development and engineering. The target hosting environment is Microsoft Azure.

You will have an understanding of the DevOps lifecycle and how with a focus on automation, CICD practices we will release to production, reliable applications frequently inline with Scrum time-boxes. 

You will provide mentoring to the team of Developers and Engineers. We have a strong focus on engineering excellence and agile ways of working. 

You will have the benefit of using the latest hardware, and receiving MSDN and Pluralsight subscriptions to support your ongoing professional development.
