Job description
Longacre School is seeking to recruit a Head of Computing.
The Head of Computing is a key member of the Team reporting to the Director of Studies. The role will provide leadership and direction for the department as well as teaching ICT throughout the School.
The right candidate will have highly developed communication skills, enthusiasm, drive, and initiative, as well as a genuine interest in all areas of school life. An ability to relate to pupils, staff and parents, be approachable and to communicate effectively with all stakeholders is essential.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right applicant to lead an innovative and highly effective department, providing inspiration for children in an ever-changing technological world. An ability to teach maths or games would be advantageous.
