Vacancy Description

Do you thrive on a challenge? Do you want to be part of a dynamic team that supports its residents in a person centred way?

Do you want to progress your nursing career and work for a Local Authority that nurtures its staff and is committed to facilitating career progression?

Then come and work for West Berkshire Council as an RGN at Birchwood Care Home.

In return for your hard work, the Council will offer you training opportunities to fulfil your CPD requirements, regular supervision from the Clinical Lead and payment of your registration fees.

We will look to you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs, whilst also relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions. You can expect a wide range of responsibilities, from developing tailored care plans to providing medicine safely and delivering excellence across everything you do. As a Registered Nurse (RGN), you’ll have the autonomy to do things the right way – and be truly valued and respected for what you do.

Birchwood benefits from a Clinical Lead and Team Leader to provide all of our RGN’s with a high level of supervision and support.
