Technologist – Footwear

We are now recruiting for a Technologist within our Footwear team based in London. This is a new role and will report to the General Manager - Technical.

About the Role
The Technologist will be part of the dedicated Footwear team and will report to the General Manager - Technical. Working within a small team, this role will be hands on and will handle of a range of Footwear including mens, womens, and kids shoes. The role will be focussed on Footwear, but will may also be supporting the accessories team.
We are looking for Technologist who is:
- Experienced in footwear within the fashion industry
- Experience of working with Supermarkets/high street retailers and brands
- Full awareness of manufacturing standards and testing requirements
- A product expert in relation to materials, quality and production for Footwear
- Highly knowledgeable about consumer product safety requirements and able to interpret relevant legislation to ensure compliance
- An excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced working environment
- Highly organised, efficient and able to work to tight deadlines
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
- Driven and results orientated
- Proactive, positive and solutions focussed
- Educated to degree level, ideally in a qualification related to fashion design, business or retail
