Network and Acquirer Solutions (NAS) operates the American Express Global Network with the highest levels of performance, security, and integrity; and is supporting Network coverage expansion by onboarding new Network Issuers and Acquirers and launching a new Network in China. The NAS Product Development & Management team is focused on delivering innovative products, services, and capabilities that predicts the needs of customers. The vision is to enable more types of payment options for issuers, merchants, acquirers, businesses, and consumers. How will you make an impact in this role? Reporting to the Director of New Payment Products and based in Burgees Hill, the newly created role of Product Manager will focus on leading major change initiatives, and GTM activities for MultiRail Payment Products. The role holder will collaborate with Blue Box stakeholders (e.g., Issuing, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Comms, and Ops Excellence etc.) to ensure the successful roll-out of Modernized MultiRail Payment services. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Communications, and Ops Excellence leaders, to champion planning, and clear and transparent risk management for delivery. A sizeable portion of the role's aim is to support and lead the delivery of the Enterprise broader efforts to modernize and centralize core payment services within Network enabled payment services. The role holder will lead the design and delivery of complex products - driving consistently high standards of product control review, product approval, product documentation and be responsible for the delivery. Specific responsibilities Deliver cross-business Payment solutions that supports delivery of wider MultiRail - Business Solutions and Go to Market strategy, with a strong focus on non-engineering components of the delivery. Lead the governance structure that drives clear ownership, decision making, and risk management. Lead updates of the program/projects you own across multiple stakeholders within the business. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of product development with other workstreams, including payments operations, legal, and marketing. Required skills Proven record of leading major technology/business initiatives and delivering successful outcomes across a range of businesses Strong stakeholder management experience Exceptional project management skills, with a proven ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. Deep expertise in payments processing, particularly Multi-Rail and Account-to-Account payments Extensive experience in managing and optimizing back-office operations, ensuring efficiency, security, and compliance. Impeccable leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and unite teams towards shared goals. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and solving complex challenges across cross-functional initiatives. Proven ability to build, maintain, and leverage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners and regulators. A relentless passion for innovation and a commitment to driving transformative change within the payments industry. Expertise in managing the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch. Ability to effectively collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to life. Demonstrable evidence of programme delivery for multiple industries and businesses A strong understanding of user experience and design principles to ensure the product meets market needs. Qualifications and Experience A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. An MBA can be advantageous. Proven experience in product management, marketing, or a related go-to-market role, with a history of successful product launches. Significant experience working with Financial Services, ideally within in Fintech, Payment's processor, or Credit Card environment as a Product Delivery Manager, Product Manager, Project Manager, or similar role We back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
