Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join one of the regions leading employers. This role is suited to a fully or part qualified studier, with previous experience of management accounting and a strong communicator across all levels of a large business. Previous experience of working in a heavily regulated, not for profit environment would be advantageous. The role is a permanent, full-time position with hybrid available.
The Role of Finance Business Partner will include:
Preparation and production of monthly management accounts and the posting of journals, including accruals, prepayments and invoicing of works
Balance sheet reconciliations
Producing detailed forecasts and budgets
Financial modelling
Assisting with the review, development, implementation and maintenance of monitoring systems, including process improvement
Communicating across all levels, using non-financial terminology and confident to challenge where necessary
Complex and detailed Financial analysis and scenario planning reacting to business needs and changes,
Skills and experiences:
Recent experience of working in a similar finance environment
Fully or part qualified working towards a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification
Experience of complex scenario planning and financial modelling
Strong communicator with experience of working with stakeholders and challenging value for money
Ability to work independently and solve problems whilst also identifying solutions
Analytical thinker, with strong knowledge of financial regulations, legislation and current practice
Ability to be organised and work effectively in a large, fast paced, complex working environment
Knowledge of financial systems e.g. SAP and BPC desirable
Proficient user of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Advanced Excel skills
