We are looking for IT consultant with Java development skills.

Job Title: IT CONSULTANT (JAVA DEVELOPER)
No. of Positions: 2
Job Type: Permanent
Job Location: Warrington (WA3)
Working Hours: 37.50 work hours per week , 9 AM to 5.30 PM, Monday - Friday
Salary Per annum: £28125 - £38110 (Depending on Experience)

Job Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing java and java web services code
- Creating and maintaining Java components
- Experience in creating and maintaining Json files
- Querying the database using SQL
- Experience with Confluence and JIRA tools
- Working with Spring framework
- FTPing the files on Unix - server to server
- Strong Data Engineer with good understanding of Big Data technologies
- Strong knowledge of Spark SQL. Proficiency in SQL Server
- Experience/exposure of EMR/Hadoop/HDFS/Yarn
- Exposure of Scripting (Bash), Good to have - Python or Scala or PySpark
- Java application development exposure (not essential)
- Demonstrable experience of working with stakeholders and developers to plan and implement technical projects.
- Knowledge of design patterns and how to apply them effectively.
- Ability to debug code with excellent problem solving.
- Experience of Agile.
- Experience in designing, running, tuning and troubleshooting EMR clusters
- Experience with Systems involving SAS data processing
- Knowledge on Cloudera/Hortonworks deployments
- Data Streaming and tranformation tools (eg Nifi, Kafka, StreamSets)
- Exposure of Scala functional programming patterns

Required Skills:
- Java

- Cucumber
- Should be competent enough to write Scala algorithms and JUnit test cases
- Hands On experience in creating Web Services / JSON files
- Relevant years experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) from inception through implementation
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements documentation

Microsoft SQL server 2016 or above
Oracle
IBM DB2

Educational Qualification:
Bachelors Degree or above
