Job description
We are looking for a CNC Manual/Conventional Machinist for a permanent position, based with our client in Leek, Staffordshire.
Immediate start available Rate of pay from £15 per hour (dependent on experience) - Negotiable rates of pay as our client is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual with relevant experience.
This is a full time, permanent position working with a world leader in automation equipment.
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a precision engineering background to join our machine shop team. You must have experience in setting and operating miller/milling machines.

What are the Working Hours?
- Day shift
- Mon - Thurs 8am until 5pm
- Fridays - 7:30am until 4pm
- Optional and regular overtime available
The ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in manual machining or running conventional machines
- Work as part of a team, or by themselves setting and operating manual/conventional CNC Machines
- Use precision measuring equipment
- Be used to making and altering fixtures and jigs
- Be a forward thinking and position person
- Be confident to make suggestions in order to make improvements or decrease machining time
- Competent at following instructions and can read and understand engineering drawings
