Unit Manager at Abbeywell Court Mental Nursing Home
We are looking for a Unit Manager to join our team at Abbeywell Court Mental Nursing Home. The Unit Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the unit, while ensuring that all services are provided in an efficient and effective manner.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the unit, including budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and providing quality assurance.
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Ensure that all services are provided in an efficient and effective manner.
- Supervise staff members to ensure that they are meeting performance standards.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback as needed.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, partners, vendors, etc.
- Manage client complaints or concerns in a timely manner.
- Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in management/leadership roles.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task effectively while maintaining accuracy.
- Proven ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset
