Job description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our client in Milton Keynes. This role is perfect for those who are fascinated by electronic systems, battery technology, and prototyping processes. You'll be directly involved in hands-on testing and troubleshooting of electronic components and battery packs, utilizing tools and software for communication and analysis. The role is a full-time, onsite position for an initial 12-month period, with great prospects for extension or transition to a permanent role, paying £20 - £24 per hour.

The Role:

• Work with tools like Vector & CanAnalyzer to communicate with battery packs.
• Help create easy-to-understand dashboards for the Operations team.
• Participate in the development of battery testing processes.
• Ensure all test procedures comply with safety and manufacturing standards.
• Contribute to the team by identifying battery issues and support troubleshooting.
• Collaborate across different teams to improve testing and production processes.
• Learn and grow your technical skills in a supportive environment.

The Candidate:

• Willingness to travel occasionally to other test sites using company vehicles.
• A keen interest in technology, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• A degree in a STEM field or equivalent.
• 1-2 years relevant experience.
