Description
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Out of Hours Response & Patrol Officer to join our team. As an Out of Hours Response & Patrol Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our organization during non-business hours. This position offers a competitive salary at SO2 level, with an additional 20% shift allowance reflecting the out-of-hours nature of the role.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of our premises, ensuring a visible security presence
Respond promptly and effectively to any security incidents or alarms
Monitor and control access to our facilities, verifying the identity of all visitors
Enforce company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents, patrols, and observations
Assist with emergency response procedures, providing first aid and assistance if required
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies, sharing information and coordinating efforts, when necessary
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a security role, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting
Valid security license and First Aid certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
Strong physical fitness and stamina, able to patrol large areas on foot
Proficiency in operating security systems and equipment, including CCTV and access control systems
Sound knowledge of local laws and regulations pertaining to security and emergency response
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £26.30
