That's why we are seeking 2 x Category Managers to support our indirect categories (IT, Corporate and Professional Services, Operational Supplies). We are focused on Procurement Excellence. You'll take into account the price, sustainability, quality and delivery and ensure continuity of supply. Collaborating with team members to develop the Procurement function both internally and as a strategic resource, cultivating key stakeholder relationships and acting as a subject matter expert on Procurement and Supply Chain requirements. Working collaboratively, negotiating and engaging with stakeholders and suppliers regarding new projects, supplies and initiatives and advising of impact of change on purchasing and production activities. Responsible for remaining up to date with any changes that may affect the supply and demand of required goods, materials or services and advise relevant stakeholders of any potential impact. Building, maintaining and managing supplier relationships, to ensure that risks are identified and that performance is managed. Negotiating contracts, prices and terms of business with suppliers, reviewing opportunities and delivering value across a range of criteria. Developing ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and development and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement.
