Job description
The Speech Clinic is an independent Speech and Language Therapy clinic based in Swansea serving families across South Wales. We are looking for enthusiastic assistants who enjoy working with young children and those with Learning Disability/Autism to develop play and communication skills. The role involves conducting individual sessions with children using sensory equipment and floor-based activities, writing case notes and assisting with administrative responsibilities, such as making resources.
Full training is provided and regular joint sessions are conducted with a Therapist. Experience with complex special needs, Makaton signing and Intensive Interaction would be an advantage. We have a lovely team, engaging in weekly supervision and team meetings, as well as multiple CPD opportunities. Part-time and full-time posts are available.
