Job description
Pulse Nursing have fantastic opportunities for Recovery Nurses in East Cheshire.
You will be responsible for caring for patients immediately after surgery. You will play a critical role in monitoring patients following all safety procedures until they regain consciousness.
Pulse Nursing are offering flexible shifts with rates from £27.00 – £34.14
Recovery Nurse responsibilities include:
- Receiving patients from the operating room and assessing their condition upon arrival in the PACU.
- Monitoring the patient’s vital signs, airway, and pain level closely.
- Managing pain and providing post-operative care, including wound dressing and medication administration.
- Educating patients and their families about post-operative care instructions and discharge guidelines.
Recovery Nurse Role Requirements:
- NMC Registration 6 months
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a recovery nurse
- To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, and Occupational Health and Updated CV
- Right to work within the UK – proof will be required
