Busy family require a live in Nanny Housekeeper to join their family in the lovely area of Cobham, Surrey!
Job Summary:
Our client, who lives in Cobham – Surrey, is looking for a Nanny Housekeeper to join their busy family. As the children (14 year old (G) and 7 year old (G) ) are in full time education (the eldest is in boarding school during the week), the Nanny Housekeeper will alongside the family’s Housekeeper in their 6 bedroom home while the children are in school to help out. In school holidays, the role will be more childcare focused. Both mum and dad have very busy jobs so are looking for someone who will be able to do overnights/proxy parenting by prior arrangement when needed. There may be occasions when weekend work will be required but that does not happen often – days off during week in lieu when that happens. The role will be sole charge. The family have house manager, housekeeper and gardener.
Driving licence is essential for this role.
Accommodation: Large bedroom with ensuite
General duties:
• Laundry for the children and family when needed
• Cooking meals for the child
• School drop and pick up
• Proxy parenting/overnight
• Making sure the children have everything they need for school
• Cleaning and tidying of the home
• Organising the home
• Hoovering and dusting
Candidate requirements:
• Experience within a similar role with similar aged children
• Team work with the other staff members
• Driving licence – essential – car will be provided for while on duty
• Pet friendly – family have a cockapoo and cavapoo (doggy day care and house manager take them for walks)
• Someone who is energetic, very organised and flexible
• Reliable and good eye for detail
DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
