Grade UE04: £23,144 - £25,138 per annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £24,533 to £27,181 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024)
CMVM / Edinburgh Medical School / Deanery of Biomedical Sciences / Biomedical Sciences Teaching Organisation: Anatomy
Full-time: 35 hours per week
Open-ended: permanent

The Opportunity:

The Anatomy facility wishes to recruit an enthusiastic, independent Anatomy technician to provide technical support to the teaching facility supporting the education of medical and science students.

The role requires a self-motivated, confident individual with excellent organisational and communication skills. Experience of working with human material is essential as well as a recognition of the confidential nature of the work.

This role will provide technical support for all aspects of Anatomy teaching, both within and out with semester time. To provide specialised support for all anatomical teaching and to assist in some areas of production, preparation and maintenance of both fresh and embalmed human cadavers.

Standard grade English and Maths or equivalent.
Competent in office 365.
