About the department and role:
We're seeking an experienced and driven Senior HR Advisor to join ourPeople & Culture team based in our Bromborough office. In this role, you'llplay a crucial part in supporting the People Operations Senior Manager indelivering a comprehensive HR service aligned with our businessobjectives. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the fullspectrum of HR activities while also contributing to the enhancement ofHR systems and practices.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide expert HR advice and services, resolving employee matterspromptly and effectively in adherence to company policy,employment legislation, and best practices.
- Generate detailed reports for departmental managers, offeringinsights and recommendations based on HR metrics and dataanalysis.
- Oversee the maintenance and utilisation of HR systems, ensuringaccurate record keeping and producing system reports as needed.
- Administer documentation related to employee terms andconditions, ensuring compliance and consistency across theorganization.
- Manage the probation process, facilitating smooth transitions fornew employees and supporting their integration into the companyculture.
- Collaborate on the preparation of monthly payroll instructions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of effective onboarding processes for new hires, fostering a positive employee experience from day one.
- Lead and mentor junior HR team members, providing guidance and support in handling complex employee relations issues and strategic HR initiatives.
- Take a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement within HR policies, procedures, and practices, driving continuous enhancement and alignment with organisational goals.
- Act as a key point of contact for senior leadership, offering strategic HR insights and recommendations to inform decision-making anddrive organizational success.
Experience:
- Extensive experience in a HR Advisory role with a focus on employeerelations.
- Strong knowledge and application of HR policies, procedures, andemployment legislation.
- Proficiency in HR systems management and data analysis, withadvanced skills in Excel and MS Office packages.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to driving positive changeand continuous improvement.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience, with acommitment to ongoing professional development.
