Job description
Medsolve are proud to be working with a client based in Cheadle who are currently looking for a Health Care Assistant to join them on permanent basis.
This is a fulltime role please note we do NOT offer sponsorship.
My client offers a generous salary of 12 14 per hour which is dependent on experience.
We are looking for an experienced healthcare assistant who will undertake clinical activities as directed and under the supervision of the Lead Nurse.
Duties and responsibilities of the Health Care Assistant:
Supporting consultants with consultations and surgical assistance in theatre (MOHS Mole/lesion excisions biopsies and shaves)
Venesection
Wound checks dressing change and stitch removal postsurgery
Maintaining infection control standards in line with CQC
daily clinic checks
Maintaining stock
Promoting high standards of clinical care to our patients across the board
Ensuring clinical audits policies procedures and medical governance standards
Skills and Qualifications of the Health Care Assistant
Care Certificate or higher
A real passion for patient care
A good understanding of CQC policies relating to a clinical environment
Good communicator and team player
