About the Role

A unique opportunity has arisen for a part time (30 hours), permanent Facilities Officer to join our small and multi-disciplinary Property Services team, ensuring the daily running of Swale House. The hours of work will be from 7am to 2pm and 1pm to 8pm Monday – Thursday & 7am to 11am and 10:30am to 14:30pm on a Friday, alternate weeks. There will be the need to provide holiday and sickness cover for the other two Facilities Officers on occasions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all duties associated with the running of Swale House including opening & closing the building, minor maintenance works, sorting post, accepting deliveries and supervising contractors.

This is a part time position on a permanent contract.

About You

We are looking for a self-motivated team player with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to both internal and external customers. The candidate should have a good understanding of health & safety in relation to buildings and knowledge of fire and security procedures. You must be able to work flexible hours including nights, early mornings and occasional pre-arranged weekends.
