Job description

Do you think you’ve got the ability to support, motivate and guide others?

We’re looking for a Progression Coach who’s able to join a government-funded programme on a fixed-term basis, however, there is a view for the role to become permanent in the future.

- You’d be meeting with small groups of prisoners as they move towards their release date.
- Equipped with all relevant data, materials & teaching aids, you’d be providing training/coaching sessions on various topics preparing prisoners for future job interviews and employment.
- You’d be recognizing and identifying initial needs to ensure support is tailored to each learner.
- You’d be focused on learner progression, outcomes and sustained progressions into employment or education programmes.
- You’d be managing and prioritising your own busy caseload and keeping the records accurate and up to date.
- You’d be carrying out all duties in accordance with Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Safeguarding and risk management policies and procedures.
