Job description

This is a key post as a permanent Examinations Assistant. Your contract will start asap, subject to satisfactory clearances (including a DBS) for 20 hours per week as detailed below.This post provides a unique opportunity to develop new skills in a school which has a compelling vision and deep commitment to providing exceptional teaching and learning. We require a part-time, 20 hours per week, term-time only including 5 INSET days Examinations Assistant. An additional 6 days will be required during the second half of August to support the release of the A Level and GCSE results and the enquiries that follow. During the external summer exam season (May/June) there will be a need to work every day and potentially longer hours. There is a good team ethos amongst the Exams team, of which this Assistant is a valued member. The successful candidate will be well organised, resilient, and resourceful, and understand the need for confidentiality. This is a rewarding position. This post graded BG6. The full-time salary range for this job is currently £23,893 rising to £24,294 per annum (Gross).
